    The regulation applies from 25th May 2018, and will apply even after the UK leaves the EU.

    A full child health and immunisation service is available to all children under five. Appointments are sent out via the Child Health Department so please ensure you notify your health visitor or reception of any changes of address.

Where to get medical help over the May bank holiday weekends.

There's a wide range of NHS services on offer over the May bank holiday weekends. If you need medical help that isn't an emergency or life-threatening, you can find out what is available locally HERE

 

Stock up for summer! 

The warmer weather often means that we spend more time getting out and about. That’s why it is even more important to make sure you stock up on some summer self-care essentials in case you need them. 

Key first aid essentials include: 

  • Painkillers, such as paracetamol or ibuprofen 
  • Antihistamines for allergies/hay fever 
  • Antiseptic cream for bites and stings  
  • Sunscreen at least factor 15  
  • Plasters and bandages  
  • Diarrhoea/constipation relief medication  
  • Travel sickness medication  

 All of these are easily available to buy at local pharmacies or supermarkets.  Further information on medicine cabinet essentials is available HERE
